Steel Platform

 

Steel platform meets the requirements of processing production operation, and ensure the smooth of traffic and operation. Generally speaking, the net height of platform should not be lower than 1.8m. Hand railings should be set around the platform to protect the goods. The height of hand railings is about 1m. When the height of platform is more than 2m, a skirting board with a height of 100-150mm should be placed under the railing. The platform is provided with ladders for the upper and lower passages. The width of the ladder should not be less than 600mm.



Steel platforms usually composed of panels, primary and secondary beams, uprights, ladders and hand railings. According to the requirements of use, it can be divided into indoor and outdoor types, production auxiliary platforms, heavy operating platforms and so on.

 

For platforms that are subject to high dynamic loads or high dead weight, it should be disconnected from the plant upright and supported directly on the independent upright. The layout of the platform structure should be economical and reasonable, and the transfer of forces should be direct and clear. The layout of the beam should be adapted to its span. When the span of the beam is larger, the spacing should also be increased. Making full use of the permissible span of the bridge floor and arrange the beam reasonably to achieve better economic results.
